Correctional Facilities

We take panels into several local correctional facilities where inmates can't get out to attend a meeting. 

Typically, we suggest 1 year of Sobriety, at least 1 year off Probation or Parole (some facilities may

require more years) .

Requirements CIM/CIW

  • TB Test
  • 1 year of Sobriety
  • 3 years off Probation or Parole

  • Complete Facility clearance forms

Great News! CDCR Orientation is Now Available Online
  • Step 1 – Complete clearance packet. Contact Melissa A. with questions.
  • Step 2 – TB Test. This can be done through your regular health care practitioner, doctor or other medical service. A completed TB Test form is required for all CDCR Facilities (pages 11 of Clearance Packet). This needs to be submitted along with your Clearance Packet. 
  • Step 3 – Complete online training using the following login info.:
  • Important Notes: There are 4 modules to be completed online—each one may generate a separate certificate. Be sure to save each one!
  • Step 4 - DAI Volunteer Annual OJT Modules Workbook - contains the information on Prison Rape, Information Practices, Fire Prevention, Tuberculosis. Please complete quiz & sign acknowledgement/signature pages (pages 8, 33, 38 & 55)


  • Email all items (clearance packet, certificates & signature pages) to Melissa A.  Once all items are complete, you will be notified when your clearance is ready.


Santa Ana Jail (Federal Housing Units)

We take panels in to the female & male housing units. 


Panels Details

  • Women's unit: 1st & 3rd Mondays.  
  • Men's Housing Unit: 2nd & 4th Mondays and Every Thursday
  • All Panels are from 7:00- 8:10 pm.


Requirements:

  • Clearance Packet - click here to download, then submit to Melissa A.
  • Interview - once you complete & submit clearance packet, a correctional officer will call you to review and setup in-person interview  to finalize your clearance. 
  • ONE-TIME CLEARANCE is Available! Email Melissa A. with full name, Date of Birth and California Driver's License #.
